This is a real surprise here at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013 – it turns out that Yamaha is one of the companies that has done a deal with Gordon Murray Design to further investigate building a car using the firm’s revolutionary iStream efficient production process. Yes, Yamaha. The motorbike company. This Motiv project was so secret that only Yamaha’s senior management were privy to the details ahead of the show – even the PR team is playing catch up
